My LED bulbs came in from superbrightleds.com today and i cant believe how much brighter they really are. I went with the cool white color for both the festoon bulb and also the two side bulbs and when you pop open the door at night, it instantly becomes daylight. For anyone that has thought about doing it, do it. I am going to the lake tomorrow for the weekend but will try and get some pics when i get back

How hard was it taking the lens off?

I'd stick one in the glove box too, those standard bulbs get hot.

What LEDs did you use exactly?

the festoon bulb is the 4410-X9 and the two map light bulbs are the 921-X12 Wedge Base. all in the cool white color which costed extra. with shipping it ran me 21 bucks. they do have wedge base bulbs with 9 LEDs instead of 12 that are cheaper.

I have a single bulb(Wedge) dome light, you think the one you used produces enough light on it's own?

i think so. they are very bright. the wedge bulbs in my dome light are the same ones i used in my cargo light and when i flip those on they light up the entire bed of the truck. if you get the 12 led one i think it would be good
