I changed the battery in my f100, but I can't remeber how to, or if I need to polarize the generator. Thanks.

if it is an alternator as most trucks from about 1960 on up is then do not polorize them you will fry the alternator and do not tyest it by removing the battery cable while it is running it also will fry things.
