Well This Sucks (Rant)

So I went to pick up my donor rig today.

I rented a car hauler from Uhaul.

$60

I paid for gas to get to the rig and back

$40

Pushing the rig up the ramp and realizing it's 3 inches too wide to fit

Agravating

Today I made a $100 dolar trip to pick up a 400 dollar parts rig.

Now I can't afford it. The guy is going to hold onto it till next week, and I should have a full flatbed, but I'm just pissed. Today was a crappy day.

i know how it is, my $350 truck turned into a $550 truck by the time i rented the truck and trailer (stupid u-haul) and paid gas and mileage. i drove about 100 miles each way to pick it up.

Been there. Done that, several times. I learn from my mistakes......but I usually forget and then repeat them

Nothing fits on U-Haul crap. Let the air out of the tires, squeeze it on there. You have to take a fender off their flatbed to get a full-size pickup on if it's a low truck.

That's why I have made it a point to own a trailer since I got a house with room for it 10 years ago. I hate not having the equipment to do something.

Meh, it's all good.

The guys going to hold on to it for me.

The dude with the truck pulling it said he'd go up with me again this week for free if he could take some parts

The owner will hold it for me till Saturday. Then he's putting it back on craigslist.

The deal is too good to let it get away.

Plus, it's got 4.88s already. And a good set of 33" street meats.
