are they planning on putting this in the focus or just the fusion? Anyone have any hp numbers for this engine? They should put it in the ranger too, I think it would sell well.

I think it would be badass. On an article on pickuptrucks.com talking about a 4 banger ecoboost F150, they said the 4 banger ecoboost would displace 2.5L with power ratings greater than 260 hp and 300 lb-ft of torque.

There is talk of them putting some version of this "EcoBoost" in a lot of models. The Explorer is said to get one, so maybe the ranger too?... but then again the explorer has has a v-8 for almost 15 years. Its being said that a hybrid takes 11.5 years to get and payback (make up the extra cost with fuel savings) a diesel takes 7.5 and the "EcoBoost" will only take 2.5 years. I'm curious for sure!
