Hey everyone from Texas...

I found this site for some shifter help in my (new to me) 94 ranger, got it from a farm. I even had to change the plates in the pics to city tags. It came from NY and is extremely rusty on the bottom, but structurally its good. I am looking forward to learning a lot and finding out the common issues with this gen Ranger.

Flash-..........the truck looks good FROM THE BUMPERS UP & ther's a lot of info in the TRS forums to get it in shape.....and hey, how about that Texas/LSU game LAST NIGHT!!

I stole my Ranger away from it's native texas home.

Why'd you change to city tags? most farm plates are cheaper, our farm tags look better, and you can gross 38k

They told me I didn't have a choice, it would have been cheaper but they knew that my residence was in town and in a suburb.

BS, I'd say I had a farm job, or my grandpa had a farm, I run farm tags on my Camaro, said I had a trailor hitch and have hauled cattle feed in it!!!! they just lied so they could squeeze an extra 15 bucks for the flawed system of american greed.

That's not the half of it. Starting 2 years ago, unless you have an off site appraisal done, you are taxed on 80% of what your vehicle books for. I had to pay taxes on 2700 bucks, and I didn't even pay half that.

Talk about greed. I realize people lie and say they paid nothing for a car, but why should I have to be penalized for actually getting a deal?

Ahh well, what can you do....
