i need help. i wanted to build a 302 ranger this fall, but i need to know sum info.

what year did they start putting computers in the rangers?
what year is the last year for carbs?

i was seeking a 2wd with carb and an auto.

ill take any advice

You were close MBD, 86 is the year they went to EFI. 83-85 were carb'd. They had a computer in the 83-85 models, but they are basically only used to control the mixture on the carb's, it's easy to get rid of.
