When i jack up the front of my truck so that the front wheels are off the ground, my front wheels on my 1995 ranger move in and out and side to side, alot, as if the wheels wer'nt tight on the studs or something, its scaring me, i dont want my wheels to fall off as im driving down the street or something. Now i cant remember, but is it I need upper and lower ball joints, or is it tie-rod ends? Or is it something else? Im not sure.:icon_confused:

If you grab the tire at the top and bottom and when you shake it moves, that'd be balljoints. You might be able to check the tie rod ends by looking at them or feeling them. If they look like they're leaking or feel hard you need new ones.

this could also be bad or loose wheel bearings.
