air temperature sensor mod

Just came across this on ebay. $12 intake air temperature mod that sends a different air temperature to the ecu for richer mixture. I think my brother has one of these on his bike. Anyways does anyone have one of these I wonder if they work

+1 The A/F is already optimized, and in closed loop mode, the O2 sensors are going to control the A/F.

its probably just a 5¢ resistor and an adjustable amp tuner LOL

my brothers buddy got had for 30 bucks for this same thing and a 5¢ resistor is exactly what he got

my buddy got burned on some ford 4.6 O2 sensor simulators for $80 and they were just and inline resistor. since he has a bachelors in electrical engineering, everybody we know with a late model ford with headers, cats or no cats have simulators he made.

it would work for only open loop operating, about the first 3 minutes, then it wouldn't matter.
