so im going to be switching a 2wd ranger to 4wd. i have most of the parts (...i think) laying around. the catch is i have a 4wd trans with transfercase off of a 2.9 and the truck i have is a 3.0. seeing as they are both v6's whats the likely hood that the 2.9 trans will fit onto the 3.0 block? they are both 5spd manual transmissions.
