ANY help would help,please..

I own a 95 4.0 ranger ive been having a problem with the fuel pump not turning on . if you go start the truck 1 week it will be perfect and another you have to sit and keep trying the key switch untill you hear the fuel pump hum. I bought a new fuel pump relay and it started up perfect and the time after that ,, nothing. there is a relay on the passengers side right under the dash that when you turn on the key switch it clicks . u can fell it if you hold it . it seams to be no power going to the fuel pump .. the inersha switch is not tripped and once it starts it golden .. is this easy to fix.

if i have to ill just buy a good toggo and fuse and wire the fuel pump direct . can u do this or does the ecm afect this . will wiring it direct hurt. also what wires on the pump are pos and neg . i think there is also wires for the gas gauge .

any tricks would be nice or easy ways to test . :icon_bounceblue:

idea!!!

could it be that egr valve tube has a crack in it and i have a new one to put on..

does not make much since though .. that the presure sensor would not make it work at start up if there was no exhast to make presure.

I was reading another forum that said unplug the presure sensor..

running a direct power wire to the fuel pump is not something i would do
u need to find the problem that is causing u to lose voltage

do u have a dvom and some wiring diagrams? thats where you need to start.
