Anyone here look at that video of the Ultimate Adventure that came in the December 2007 issue? Mine doesn't have a scratch on it, but skips and stops playing during the last day of the UA. Just wondering if it was mine or if they made a bunch of copies from a crappy original and never checked it for quality. :dunno:
 
i have it, mine plays just fine you must have gotten a bad one, it is definately one of the better UA videos i think
 
I have the same video. I like it but the video is too slow paced for me. Got bored. No, mine doesn't skip.

Was that on news stand or subscription? I didn't get a video but they sometimes put stuff in the news stand issue that they don't put in the subscription package.
 
Yep, I got the issue, no CD for me. I hate the magazine anyway, I am not renuing it. A lexus as 4x4 of the year. Get real.

I wish I had the free CD though....
 
Played fine from end to end... I think it was news stand only.
 
the "bonus" stuff is always news-stand only...

as for the lexus as 4x4 of the year, have you ever driven one of those things? I'd wheel one (if someone gave it to me, to expensive for my tastes), they are pretty capable...
 
i also have it, i think they really love the jeeps. Theres a write up in that issue about a D44 SASsed ranger too. They like to talk about how rangers are great for wheeling but didnt put any in the video hahaha, t'was a good video nonetheless.

i bought mine on the newstand.

I could wheel a John Deere tractor, but everything has it's place.

No one in their right mind would buy a lexus and do the stuff they do on those tests. I just think it is stupid to buy a magazine about 4-wheeling and trucks and all the tests and articles are won by grocery getting 40+ mpg suv's.
