Thanks to this site, I was able to remove my tranny Sept. '08 and replace the clutch/slave cylinder and have been problem free since that time, UNTIL, I had to tromp on the brakes and clutch to avoid not one but two idiots that up and turned in front of me.After the smoke cleared, there was no collision, I could'nt get it into 1st and had to turn it off and start it in gear and limp home. Did I blow a seal in the slave? I think I know the answer as this is exactly how it "shifted" before I re-placed it.The reservoir is/was full and there's no fluid visible in the view port on the tranny. Thanks for any help, Yogi, and to a lesser extent, BooBoo.
