Bed Cap question

I have a 6" Leer crown cap on my 1986 short bed ranger.
It was off a S-10. Doesn't quite match the sides or roof line of my cab ... but close enough ... it was in good shape and free ... did have to replace the hatch shocks and have a key made for it too

'should' be able to use another. im pretty sure the inner bed never changed so width shouldnt bee to much of an issue. ive got one for a 6' bet i want to get rid of....
