Interior light stays on in my 1999 B3000

The interior light in my 1999 Mazda B3000 Club Cab won't shut off after the truck gets wet. It used to shut off after a couple of days, but now it won't shut off at all. Anyone know how to fix this and keep it from happening again? Thanks.

Google search "ford door ajar" and read up.

If WD40 and some lithium spray grease doesn't help, you may need to replace a switch.

hey

mine did the same thing. use pb blaster wd40 or lithum grease in a can and spray the catch for the door the problem should then go away.

I had the dome light and door ajar light issue. spray wd40 or pb blaster on both door latches. this will fix the issue for sure. while your at it hit the tailgate lathes(works wonders) :yahoo:
