My Son decided he wanted to do another V8 Ranger, so he took this one off my hands, as I picked up another 94 that I have listed as my RAT Ranger project:

I had picked up this salvage titled 95 Ranger XLT that somebody had used as a parts truck, they used the bed & rearend.

Haven't decided if I'm gonna attempt to pull the radiator support, or just replace it............

Just got it back from frame shop Wed, but no pics yet, they put in the NEW radiator support, RF fender, & replacement hood after tweekin the frame a lil' as it was off ahead of the front crossmember just 1/2".........
 
ahhh chvlfrk its good to see ya again. love your projects. hoping to see mine running soon. now im re-inspired thanks

My RAT Ranger is on the back-burner for a lil' while..........my hours have been cut at work & funds are tight, so I'll be workin on his for a while....

What's your hold up????:icon_twisted:
 
17 and no job. but im getting parts for her in 2 weeks at the carlisle ALL GM SHOW. about 1500 bucks worth of stuff. hehe
 
altho if you check my cardomain in my sig, youll see my progress

wow it's been awhile since ive posted around here, hah. Talk about deja vu, i look out my window and see the EXACT same truck...undergoing almost the same swap. mines a 97 though, salvaged. gettin a 289 in her. got any specs on the engine?

Well..............got it back from the frame shop couple weeks ago, they straightened the frame horns, installed the NEW radiator support, original RF fender & donor hood.......

Cleaned & painted the rear frame behind the cab, cut & installed the 2x4 rectangular tubin in place of the tilted original crossmember:

Gotta get a LF fender, front bumper, & valance panel.....already have NEW header panel, gonna use the front lights, grill, & stuff from his 93.
