So, I'm in the middle of building an OHV 4.0....block has been align honed, decked, ready to bore.....

Problem is, I'm trying to price out pistons - and I'm not having much luck. Where are you guys getting your pistons from?? Any online vendor/source where I can get a guesstimate on pricing/part selection??

Same thing with the cam/push rods/rocker arm assy. I've only found one cam available and that's from comp.......

You can get Speed-Pro Hypereutectic pistons from summit #STL-H570P. Comp makes 2 cams 256HR and 270HR these are the only cams for this engine. You will need comp 988-12 valve springs and crane 9947 retainers to go with these cams. Use stock retainers and lifters.

BTW, if you had the block align-honed you heed to have the block re-doweled or you'll end up destroying the input bearing in any transmission you bolt to it.

"decking the block" or milling the heads usually creates intake gasket sealing problems.
