losing spark on right side cylinders, new coil, new ignition module, new wires and plugs, fires steadily on left cylinders, only occasinly on right ,92 ford ranger 4.o manual, bought this truck to do 4.0 conversion on my prerunner, but have to get it running correctly first.thanks in advance:sad:

Sounds like your new coil could possibly have a burned out/bad bank in it. Not sure how to test it though.

That's an interesting problem. I assume it's edis, lost spark. It's like a single coil with two outputs, If it fires the plug on one cylinder it should fire on its opposit cylinder in the firing order. are you sure the plug leads are going to the correct plugs.

I agree with Martin. Always start with the most basic solution and work your way into it. Check to insure that your wires are run correctly.

yea my buddy changed all his wires at once not one at a time and had teh 4 and 5 wire flipped and when he accelerated it sounded like a bunch of firecrackers, it was cool as hell once we fixed it
