So about a year ago my truck started having trouble shifting (Cant remember what started it). When going into reverse it hesitates then slams into gear. Also, when driving it will go into a "free rev" state when going from 1st to 2nd only. But when it goes from 2 - 3, 3 - 4 etc it will "shudder" 85% of the time. Also, when I get on the gas it slips. When that happens it almost feels like its the rear-end but maybe its a mix of both? Also, Ive thrown 3 O/D Off codes but havent had them pulled to see what they were. Its going into get the fluid changed tomorrow and im going to ask them to check U joints and rear-end. so hopefully ill be able to tell something by the fluid. Anyone had these problems and found out what was wrong? Any help would be appreciated.
