hey guys getting a set of 31x10.5r15. question is what i need to do to fit stock 85 4wd or would a body lift be in order?

A body lift may do it, but you may also need a little bit of suspension. Up to 2 inches is usually attainable without drop brackets and that would definitely be enough.
i use to run 31's in my '95 ranger with the stock suspension with out any rubbing or doing any fender trimming, I dont know how relivent that is to an '85 though

My 89 is fine with a 1 1/2 inch leveling. Just use stock wheels or close to stock backspacing
