84 BII won,t start

Was tweaking around with my 84 BII about 3 months ago, it has a bad carb but would run. I drained the battery and when I went to jump it I had the pos/neg jumper wires crossed. I thought I fried the computer so I switched it with one from a 83 ranger I had. Still no go. Is the a inline fuse link that maybe I fried? I,m new here so any help would be appreciated. It,s in preatty good shape and I need to sell it for my son's tuition this fall. Thank's again.

I am not well verse with that model, but I would recommend spending some time looking at various circuits (from a vehicle specific wiring diagram) that relate to the issue and designate some points to test against to see where the problem lies. Is it not turning over, or is it turning over and not starting? Have you checked the basics, is it getting spark?
