Hello,

Early last month I had a cracked head (cylinder 4) diagnosed on my pickup (2000 4.0L 4x4) which I took care of myself. After I buttoned everything back up it ran great for about two weeks before I started having problems again, and after having another diagnostic run I learned that this time the problem was on cylinder 3. I just got the other head off, and once again its cracked between valves. At the dealer I was told it wasn't uncommon on these engines for head problems to migrate from one side to the other, so I wanted to ask if anyone had heard of this, and more importantly if there is an underlying cause that needs to be corrected, as I think I may just lose it if I need to go through this again.

Thanks.
