is it possible to run a chevy dana 60 ?

i am pretty sure i have sen this done before, but i would like to know how to do it. what transfer case do you use to run a driveline to a passenger side diff, or do you have to change, the engine and transmission as well. what i am really trying to find out is what set up is the most cost effective. should i go with a late 70s ford dana 60. or a chevy dana 60.

you should tell us a little bit more first... what are you going to use your truck for and what tires do you want to run, how much money you want to spend, do you want to do an engine and tranny swap or just sas it... etc

well i would like to do a v8 swap, but i also want to stay fuel injected, so i think the explorer 5.0 would be best but ultimately, i just want to run some dana 60 full widths.
