P1451 - EVAP Control System Canister Vent Solenoid Circuit Malfunction
Does anyone know how to determine what the fix is for this code? I googled the code and found some info suggesting testing the circuit and possibly replacing the canister vent solenoid. But I don't really know how to test the circuit or exactly where the EVAP canister vent solenoid is located. I know it's by the gas tank and there's an EVAP canister by it, but can someone give me a description of the solenoid? FYI - I had to replace the EVAP canister a year and a half ago, so I don't know if this can be at all connected to that... The code has come on a couple times in the past month. Cleared it both times and it came back on, but it took up to a week or two before it came back on.
