Alright i have a 95 with a 3.0 a while back i found an exhaust leak, i could hear only while the motor was under load, ended up being one of the hoses on the egr was dried rotted away, and i fixed it and cured the problem
Now im gettin the same type of noise wich i think is an exhaust leak, the motor will not do it in neutral, i have to be accelerating on the hwy or in drive brakes on and giving throtle to create a load on the motor, but for the life of me cant seem to find the source of the noise, also i noticed the motor seems to have a greasy oil buildup from the valve cover i dont recall seeing up untill lately, it also has 302 300 kms, or 188 750 miles,
