Hi I am looking at doing this swap in my truck. I have converted a few other vehicles before, but no rangers. My question basically centers around what parts I need from the donor vehicle. I know I will need:
Transmission (Mazda 5 speed)
Shifter
Flywheel
Clutch kit
Clutch Hydraulics (Master and slave/throwout bearing)
Pedal assembly
Steering column
Do I need to change any wiring like for reverse lights or anything else?
Is the computer needed to make it run or just to prevent trans related codes?
Do I need a different trans crossmember?
Do I need a different driveshaft or will mine work fine?
Are there any other parts I need that I haven't thought of?
I apologize if these have been addressed before but I did check the tech section and did a few searches and couldn't find the answers to these. Thanks so much in advance to anyone who has done this or knows the answers!
