When changing the rotor, do I have to take the bearing race out of the old rotor or does the new rotor already come with them, or can you buy just the race. I have a37 bearings. I have no clue with this truck, so if I'm asking a pretty dumb question. I am sorry.

Don't reuse bearing "cups"

New rotors come with them already installed.

the friction surfaces are machined referenced to the
bearings that are pressed into the rotors.

when you buy wheel bearings the "Cups" and "cones"
are packaged/sold seperately

Actually, the part number A37 is a combo kit that includes the bearing and race. all the Axx numbers are bearing and race together. If the number was, for example, A41652 then it would be a single component.

I have often knocked the crappy Taiwanese race out of the rotors in exchange for the nice BCA ones I buy.

when you replace the races in the rotor you are technically supposed to
either have the rotor machined so the friction surfaces are normal to the
races OR check the rotor for runout.

"crappy Taiwanese" no the really crappy ones are made in the OTHER China

If a rotor comes with either Taiwanese or Chinese races it's usually
because it's a Taiwanese or Chinese Rotor and frankly I'd toss the entire assembly.

You would think, but pop the race out of a Bendix or Raybestos rotor. Supposedly US made, stamped right into the rotor itself, but the races are generic crap. It's actually sad.
