i have a 91 ranger, i cant make up my mind if i want to go 2inch drop with coils or 3/4 with i beams. i dont want to sit to low to the ground and cause damage to the underneath and ride like a log wagon, i want to still be able to get a jack underneath it. I plan on putting 15 crager ss on my truck. i want to take out the wheel well space, and have a nice stance. So i figured if i can get some pics to make up my mind.:icon_confused::dunno:

3/4 will ride like stock but with better handleing due to the lower center of gravity. Coil springs change your spring rate.

it will fit under it

i did a 3/4 drop with beams and it handels great. i can still get a floor jack under it and it is very practicle. i would like to go another 2 with springs and 2 with blocks in the back.

my 91 has the belltech 5/6 up until the accident drove it every day... n problems... rode better than stock... hardley ever scraped... shs going to the body shop tomorow! the lower the better...

im not crazy about the airbags or hydro cause u loose alot of drivablilty.. but the 5/6 was a great investment...

You need to change you tranny cross member out. That was the only thing I was scraping on a normal basis. As soon as I did, no more scraping. I also have the one for the radius arms but haven't gotten that far yet. That'll be next after I get the rear end together again.

illegal- i am in the same boat as you i got the tranny crossmember on and havent done the radius arm crossmember yet cause i still have my worries about the shocks not hooking up right after i swop it out because the radius cross member moves the back of the radius arms out

I guess that is something I will have to pay attention to. I hadn't noticed a difference but I haven't had a chance to see them side by side yet. I'm hoping to do mine in the next 2 weeks. My rear spring bushings won't be in till Thursday and I don't want to pull both sides of the truck apart at the same time. I would really like to take it out for a spin, it's been close to 3 months now that it's been sitting.
