Well, its that time of the year. What experience have you had with the various brands ? The Mastercraft Glacier grip looks really really good although you cant always go by looks but I think most of us do..

:c-n:

I just got some Winterforce's on the back of my truck. I ran Bridgestone Dueler Revo's all the way around last year and didn't have any problems, but they're pretty worn now, so I figured I'd get some good back tires at least (fronts are pretty good). I also have 640 pounds of sand bags in the back, so I should be good.

My sister had this same brand of tires on her car last year and they seemed pretty good, we'll see how they work on my truck.

Michelin Ice-x. Very good in snow covered roads.

I'll agree on the Michelin's. The wifes car came out of the driveway by itself all last winter, much to my surprise. Nordic ice trac seem to perform in a similar manner but at a cheaper price.

+1 on the Michelins. I put them on an rear wheel drive Volvo I used to have and it was like driving a different car. Couldn't believe the defference.

I use the Bridgestone Winter Dueler DM-Z2's and I love em. The DM-Z3's are super nice too.

We sell a crap load of Winterforce tires at my shop, never had anyone complain about them, usually they wear them out and buy another set. LOTS of sipes, studdable, and affordable.

I ran the glacier grips on my old ranger. THey are great snow and ice tires. nd for the price you won't find anything better. There maybe better tires out there but you will have to pay BIG $$$ for them
