hey guys i have an important question. Can i swap a front diff of a 97'-00' ranger to a 96' ranger without any complications?????

You can a '97, but not a '98 or higher.

ok and is that only from a ranger or could it be from an explore too?

Explorers switched from TTB to SLA in '95. But you could swap one from a 91-94 explorer.
