another lift ?

2006 fx4 4.0 x-cab, I'm looking to do a 3in susp. lift, to my understanding up to 3in....front drive shaft will be good...over 3 not good......
I found a "fabtech" 3 in spindle, add a leaf and 4 shocks with alignment keys.....around $1000.00
Will this be all I'll need ?

I dont want a torsion crank....I like a smother ride and dont want the additional work. Its a daily driver with some fun off the road. also i'll be getting 32 or 33 mickey thompson tires.

If any one has additional information....I'm all ears.....I have a few months left here in the dust bowl :icon_hornsup: so I have time

3 inch spindles are for the 2x4 guys. For the 98 and up 4x4 there is very little out there. Main options we have are Superlift, RCD (if you can find used), Dixion Bros. and SAS, and none are cheap.

Well SH#$.....that suks.......lol....have to think about that $2K for a lift.......

Thats why most people that realy want to off road the 98+ Rangers and have fab skills SAS them. Best bang for the buck.
