Im putting a 2.8 liter in my 1983 ford ranger 2.3 liter 4wd 4speed and was wondering if a bellhousing off a 2.8, 2.9 or 4.0 liter will bolt up to my 2.3 transmission and will the clutch components and flywheel from the 2.3 will work with my 2.8 (I have my doubts) but thats why im asking and if the clutch components and flywheel from a 2.8, 2.9, or 4.0 liter will work on my 2.3 transmission.
