94 ranger 3.0 conversions questions

it a 3.0 with the 5spd manual tranny and idk someone told me that cause its a v6 it will bolt right up to a 302 but i dont think so and i know theirs gotta be someone out their that know this stuff when it comes to this exact situation so hopefully someone will lead me in the direction of a starting part cause i already got the motor built but dont know how to put it in or what to bolt it to

the ford 3.0 is a vulcan motor, the bellhousing pattern it has is unique to the vulcan motors, and WILL NOT fit any ford v-8... however! the SHO taurus motors WERE vulcan based motors! i often thought it would be a cool swap to replace a ranger 3.0 with an SHO 3.0! :icon_idea:

First rule is that a V-8 Motor needs the V-8 trans to go with it. Depending on the level of the motor build, you might have to step up to one of the higher torque transmisisons out there.
