View Full Version : Extended Explorer Custom Made?

Sorry for the poor pics, they are from my phone. I saw this in a driveway and had to go back just to take a pic. It is a mid 90s explorer that is extended. It looks like the stock wheel base is used but its got an extension after the axle like the Ford work vans do. Its also got a vinal top and a solid panel where the back window should be in the quarter. Does anyone have and info if this is a factory conversion for a 3rd seat or something?

Man I know this sounds weird but do you think its a conversion for a hearse?weird thought but it all fits.(extended,vinyl top) just a thought

First look screams Professional Car. Think funeral flower car. Long range body/casket transport... I've seen minivans with hearse conversions.

Hearse...... there is one at a funeral parlor in South Bend. Looks just like that one.
