Bought my little Gen 1 about a year ago. Money is tight, but I had to do something about the tires and wheels. I bought some grey steel wheels off a 94 Ranger, painted them white and put some 235/60/14 tires on them. I'm real happy with the look and the price. About $250 for the whole thing. Check it out.

Yeah, that 26 year old paint is not exactly white anymore. But it's on my list of things to do. Maybe the truck will match the wheels some day.

looks good did you just paint or powder coat the wheels

They're painted. Justed sanded them down, then primer and rattle can. Rustoleum Professional. This paint's really not hard enough for automotive use, but for $5 a can I can afford to touch them up when I scratch them. I would love to powder coat them, but I'm saving my pennies for the exhaust system now.

Thanks for all the positive posts.

Always loved first gen's. Clean truck man:icon_thumby:

Nice truck:shok: the factory pin stripe on the older rangers is awesome... especially on that thing. It looks so clean!

man i really like the way your truck looks but it reminds me of my old 84 rip she was a good old truck just had the 2.0 four in it but that little truck could out do my 85 anyday she ran awsome sucks though she met a telephone poll jan 2nd this year after i put 50000 miles on her in 4 and a half moths

but yeah love the way yours looks

I like them. Might I recommend either painting the logo on the center cap, or changing the color of the center cap to accent it a bit...
