hey guys, is it possible to put a 351 winsor in my 96 ranger"? and if so ,is it worth doing"?

a ferrari in a ranger is possible, anything is with a welder this is better for the engine swap forum, but you have to ask is it worth it to you.

the tranny from a 2.3 wouldnt bolt up to a 351 im sure and im sure ud need a new wiring harness. it would cost a pretty penny
well i have the tranny also, but yea i think that i may go in another direction . thanks i'll think about it

well engine, trans, rear end. Plus radiator, mounts, and depending on fuel infection or carbenated the associated wiring and fuel pumps...

like i said a pretty penny. u might as well buy a bronco with a 351 for the cost of the swap
yea i know, i will think about it, i dont want to spend more than $4,000 on it. 2 or 3000 if possible. thanks

the reason i say that buying a bronco with a 351 would be cheeper is bcuz im buyin one for 400 bucks in a week or so, i see em on craigslist for like 1 grand all the time, but have fun finding one with a 351 winsor, only like 27% of broncos had a 351 winsor in em. and if u do decide on the swap, ur truck is gonna haul balls and get bad gas milage when ur in the pedal
