tire size help!!!

so id really want to fit 33 12.5 15 under my 2003 ranger fx4 lvl ll with a 2" lift tell what would i need to do if even possable and im not doing a body lift there worthless
 
How is a bodylift worthless?

They give you the clearance you need to run a taller tire, the taller tire gives you more ground clearance and the big plus is it doesn't raise the center of gravity of the vehicle near as much as a suspension lift does.

body lift are worthless to me cause they dont do anything but raise the truck 3 inchs not worth it the look ugly as hell specially when u can see the frame sticking out and under the truck bed there a pain to install and if i was looking for a lift i would get a acual lift that gave me more suspension travel i live in the desert and love going fast offroad a body lift and gona do shit for that:annoyed:
 
You said you wanted to fit bigger tires, a body lift is the best solution unless you want to fork over some coin.
 
I just put a 3" body lift on my '98 and i love it. It was only like $120 from Summit.. on sale from like $150.
Much better value for putting on bigger tires than the whole IFS suspension kits.. waay too much money.
If you think about, besides travel, the main way to gain clearance is bigger wheels anyway. So body lift and fiberglass fenders FTW!!!! lol
 
Obliviously you people wheel easy trails and have never rolled over. Just wait till your cab or bed kisses a tree and it shifts your body all to hell because you have a body lift. The body lift makes it much easier for the cab to get jared around in a accident.

I'd just crank the T-bars for the front and shackle lift the rear. Top it off with a 1" body lift.

That'll get you to a good 2-2.5" lift overall, and a 1" body lift isn't hard to hide the misalignment, and room to run the bigger tires. Which is where the real ground clearance increase is at.
 
crank the t-bars and get some shackles. for the rear 50 bucks. give you 2 1/2 to 3 inches. but hope you dont need to flex anytime when your out.

I vote body lift, best/cheapest way to get bigger tires, other than cranking torsion bars, which can make it ride like ass. But there is always the Cut-the-Fenders option, I like that one.

Our usual wheeling around here involves trails not much wider than ATV trails, my truck has rubbed plenty of trees to get through trails. Its also been on its side once. Never had anything shift yet.

What? Dude my suspension lift took me and another guy at least 10 hours to install. I bet I could do a body lift by myself in half that if not less. Body lifts are easy!

I dont mean to be rude but it seems that whatever anybody says you want a suspension lift, so why dont you just put that in because cranking your t-bars is pointless if you are going fast in the desert, your suspension will be too stiff. You want a decent amount of travel for when you landand you will need a minimum of 4" of lift so that your tires wont rip the hell out of your fenders, not to mention that you will have to get a deeper offset rim so that they don't rub at full turn. If you don't want to fork out the big bucks for a suspension lift then my suggestion is stick with 31" tires.
 
That wa my second idea haha. just get the 4 inch life it'll fit the 33's easy.
