well since I rolled the ranger, Ive been looking at something diffrent and I decided to get this 92 jeep cherokee.
got a jeep

eww....unibody....

at least i have my rangers wheels and tires on her. ive owned 2 bronco ii's, a ranger, and an f-150 so i decided to try something diffrent and this is what i ended up with for 1500 dollars.

They are good wheeling vehicles but once you start beating them the unibody starts to fall apart. $1500 isn't bad. It got that 4.0 in it? At least you have ford's still. LOL

yea its got a 4.0 with 129,000 on it. i wanted an explorer but i couldnt find one in decent shape.

One of those explorer sports would have made a pretty cool rig.

yea thats what i was goin for. looked at one and it was a piece. then i looked at another and they wanted 3k and the four wheel drive didnt work. so i went to the car dealer and got this.

$1500? Not bad.

they are decent wheelers...who knows you might find an explorer and be able to trade....have fun wheelin!!!

If you're going to wheel it, put subframe connectors on it.

That takes care of the unibody blues.

I like the XJs a lot and the '92 is a good foundation to build on.

I'll probably get flamed but stock for stock, they beat the BII and Explorer Sport as a capable off road rig.

And as far as aftermarket, if it can be imagined, it is made for that truck.

Good Luck!
