power out of a 2.5

i have an 01 ranger 2.5L w/ a 5 speed manual. i'm trying to figure out how to build some power out of it. i have though about turbos and v6 swaps, but not sure whats the best idea. idk if anyone else know's of easyer ways to build power out of these engines. any help i can get would be appreciated. thanks to all

i think that 01's were 2.3 duratec dohc 16 valve, the 2.5 just came from 98 to 00
u sould check first

they were puttin the 2.5s in untill 2001 1/2. its been duratec ever since

That is a good question I have an 01 Ranger 2wd 2.5L as well its and automatic and I was curious about what I could do to get more power out of it as well??
