116-Engine Coolant (ECT) sensor out of range - ECT

1994 3.0L. Low rough idle, but doesn't die. IDEAS?

Remove and replace EGR Solenoid and clean the EGR Valve and tube. Make sure the tube is clear of any clugging.
Remove and replace ECT sensor. Make sure you get the correct voltage reading at the connecting harness.
Clean the throttle body making sure you don't leave any sludge build up behind the throttle or inside the body. Carb and Throttle body spray cleaner and a brush should do the work. This would bring your idle speed up to the propper settings. If not... replace the IAC.

before you go and hang parts maybe you should check out what is actually wrong. if backprobed the pfe voltage should change with egr actuation. either by power braking med throttle or using a vacuum pump on the egr. with vacuum the egr opens and should either stall the motor or make it stumble. when vacuum is applied he pfe voltage should increase. make sure the system pulls vacuum on the egr hose when power braking. most likely its just a bad pfe. if it doesn't stumble likely clogged ports.
