Accel 21lb/hr Injectors?

Hey guys, just ordered Accel 21lb/hr injectors from summit racing since my old ones are dead. My engine mods already include Accel Super Coils, Summit wires, Bosch Platinum/Iridium 4+ plugs, Hypertech programmer, extremely free flowing custom ram air intake, 76mm MAF, 66mm throttle body, pacesetter headers, pacesetter exhaust w/o catalytic converter, all synthetic oil. Just wondering what you guys think? Will it run too rich or are they half decent injectors?

Truthfully...It's likely going to run rich.
The stock injectors are more than enough for a 4.0L

Rich? Not necessarily. As long as your CPU, MAF and related sensors are working properly, your computer will direct the firing pressure of the injectors. A biggy here besides your CPU is your O2 sensors. I wonder, though, if you bought something more than you can use?

As stated the PCM will take readings from the MAF and O2 sensor and will keep the pulse width the same for the larger injectors as it would the stock injectors. It won't run rich anyway, but they might just be a waste of money.

It WILL run rich. REALLY rich. Don't do it.

I made that mistake. Now my piston rings and valve seals are glazed and I burn through all sorts of oil because I couldn't afford to buy 19 lb injectors for a couple of months. The truck runs like shit, it doesn't have any power, and you pour out black smoke.

Return those injectors and get yourself a nice set of 19 lb/hr.

you don't have the cam to run those injectors. for those injectors you either need a monster cam or forced induction..... or both not to mention better heads and a better flowing exhaust ........
