do some measuring, most rear leaf springs are alot longer and softer then front springs, why not use coils?

because i realy dont want to use coil and i dont think coil will be strong enough for the engine that i have in the truck.

??? unless you have a cummins diesel from a dump truck in your truck you can find coils that will work. rear springs up front would be even worse if its that heavy...
post specs on truck...
just some front chevy springs would be find, 3/4 ton if your worried about weight, go look at my build i hade 6" superlift chevy springs in front, way to stiff even with my 302v8

If your dead set on runnin leafs 78-79 f250 or f350 4x4 spring fit without extending the frame and center your wheels right where they need to be. The 78-79 f250's and f350's were heavy trucks alone then add the weight of a 460 These springs should do the trick for you. They are easy to find and relativly cheap.

Pictures of this Cummins. I am itching to call BS on this but I would like to be proven wrong.
If you were smart enough to get a Cummins crammed into a RBV then I pray you are not stupid enough to run it with a d44 for a front axle.....

also cummins came stock with coils why not use those, i dont understand why you would want leafs... but if your set on them do what dangerous_rangerous said
list the specs on your truck, tranny/t case/axles etc...
