my friend has a 99 ranger 4x4 4.0 w/ the auto, w/ 160,000 miles, the other day going down the interstate 70mph or so stoped off at a rest stop when we started it back up it reved high and barely moved like a clutch slipping in a manual,it has plenty of fluid & isnt burnt.It has all gears,it gets up to speed but takes 4ever.
