Hey, I'm looking into a sub and amp for my 97 ranger supercab. thinking about a new head unit w/ RCA out and preamp hookups, but after looking into the Kenwood WooX, I don't think it's gonna fit under my seat. has anyone ever put one under there, cuz its mighty small. can you remount the seat to be higher? this is pretty ridiculous, but could you mount the sub on the ceiling, its only 4"x15"x9"? thanks.

i have a single 10 in a sealed box that i put in place of a rear jump seat, it fit perfect, looks good and is out of the way. the amp is mounted to the top of the box.

are you set on getting the kenwood woox?

you can always get:
elemental designs sq10-$70
build your own sealed enclosure(the sq10 only needs .3cf)-price??????
then pick up a 2 channel amp and bridge it-under $150
amp wiring kit-$50

well the WooX is only 160, and i dont know if i want to sacrifice the seating in the back. it seems like a cost effective solution to a square footage problem

well if your worried about space then go for it, but there are better options as far as sound quality
