I heard of some people talkin about a silencer in the intake, where the air filter is? Not suppost to gain any power but sound better? Idk but where is it at?

I believe only the newer style 98 and up rangers have the airbox with the silencer in them i believe(not 100% sure). My 01 had one, removed it, and made it sound a lot meaner. My 93 does not have one. If it has one it would be in the very front of the air filter box right behind the passenger side headlight if i'm remembering correctly.

I took the silencer out and the rubber piece out completly.
