t-case help

have a 87 ranger stx want to put a biger flang on the t- case. to get the biger u-joints and one paece drive shaft. what year did they put the biger u-joint on and will the flang fit my t-case thankz

I don't know for sure, but you may be able to grab a 1354 t-case from an Explorer...it may have the bigger flange. I don't know if you can use just the flange or not, but I'd swap in the whole t-case. The late 90's Explorers had the larger pinion flange so I would imagine they'd have the larger t-case flange as well.
