I am looking for a shift boot (4x4, Manual tranny) out of a 89-92 that was equiped with the mazda 5-speed. Mine was originally equiped with the pos mitsubishi and after rebuilding it once and having it go out a second time I opted for the mazda but the location of the shifter on the mazda is farther forward and my old shift boot base won't work. My boots are in good shape and I really only need a different base.
Are there any aftermarket guys that make these or anyone that may have some laying around? I priced one at Ford and I believe it was $300
