2,5 to 4.0

i have a 99 b2500 the motor went out so i figured i would do a motor swap. i have everything in and attached new trany and everything. I only have one problem the motor was attached to an automatic and i have a manual. So the wiring is different, does anyone know how to trick the ecm so that i can get it to run.

You will need to find a computer from a manual 4.0 truck, however, you should still be able to get it to run with the 4.0 Auto computer.

Did you swap in the entire 4.0 engine harness?
