body lift trouble!

all the bolts except the front 2 they just keep spinning i got the nut off the top but cant get these damn things out any help?

Did you take the top nut off?????? If you did take that nut off, and they are still just spinning, cut the bolt in half between the bushing and theframe bracket. Get it on a workbench on a vise and get to work getting the remaining part of the bolt out of the mount. If all else fails, get new mounts. You are using an impact and heat, correct???

I assume you are talking about the core support mounts, right? Not the cab bolts?
 
I used one of these:

when I pulled my cab, get yourself a long steel rod and start pounding
 
I had to take a pair of channel locks and grip the metal part of the bushing. If you notice, when you turn the bolt, this metal washer looking thing turns with the bolt. This washer is actually threaded and, on mine anyway, it rusts to the bolt, and my truck has almost no rust on it...
 
light the whole truck on fire and push it down a hill ..
 
wow...day and a half later the OP hasn't come back to his thread. wow. and he was just so damn impatient eh? lol.
 
im haveing the same issue with one of my bolts that holds the leaf to the shackle. im going to saw off the head and try a BFH. ive tryed heat and PB Blast yesterday and failed
 
Impact often times isn't the solution. You just have to be 10% smarter than the materials.:icon_thumby:
 
i got help from ranger-forums actually thanks guys, i was very impatiant after a hour of trying to get one bolt off i kinda wanted to take a shotgun to it, nd fxwanna be you actually commented on my pics over there already :)

I registerd there, now I half to wait to be approved?! I hate that I'm still waiting to be approved on another site as well thats absolutly retarted! I've been waiting a week for the other, makes me wounder how many people you lose from that because you've already lost my attention I don't want to be a member that bad.:thefinger:
