A fiberglass conversion clip should work the same on a bII as a ranger so if you wanna pony up the money it should be relatively simple. I love that 4th gen bII though :D

How are you going to do that without the flares? I would be happy to just get the stock fenders/bedsides in fiberglass, just to elimate the chance of rust.
The original picture looks a lot like and Explorer Sport. Reshape the back window a little, add some built in fender flares and change the wheels and that is exactly what it would be.

I'm currently collecting parts to convert the front end. Fenders, hood, grill, lights etc. Going to make it look like it came stock.
(I'm not afraid of a little body work. :icon_welder:)

And a Gen IV Extended cab modified into a BIII - more realistic than the prototype above . . .

does anyone have measurements of a gen 3 door? will it bolt to a gen 2 and latch (besides it being taller) and is the angle the same for the A-piller? dont care about body lines, got an idea floating in my head on how to accomplish this. basically curious if the inner metal of a gen 3 door is the same as the inner metal of a gen 2 as far as shape and mouting is concerned

ahhh - I just been doing it longer - LOL. Thanks BTW
There are many different ways it could be done, maybe even the rear part of an Exploder mated onto a Ranger bed and cab.

I like the idea of the short wheelbase and back seat, but I'm sure I would miss having a bed...lol

Hmmm being a Bronco II man... We should make this a competition eventually :D
Get people to give their take on a new and updated bronco II! :icon_thumby:
But really to be perfectly honest I dont think Ford would ever make another Bronco II. Thats what the explorer did was replace it. The Bronco II got too much of a bad rep. Even though they're not as roll prone as people make them out to be.

Now that you mention that it does - when I made that rendition, I used the rear window of the cab and extended it out to make it larger . . .
