Hi guys I am new to the forums and all. I'm 16 and have a '94 mazda B2300 and I have a few question yesterday I bought a 351w from my friend who said it was a 302 but I got it for a 100 bucks it wasn't siezed or any thing just a little dirty. So at first I was planing on putting a 5.0 in my B2300 but now I have this 351w and I heard they are about the same size a a 302 but about an inch wider and taller. I found a kit online for a 302 and I was wondering if it would work on my 351w heres the link http://advanceadapters.com/product/...n-Basic-Package-For-Bronco-II-&-Rangers-.html if any one has any advice I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks, Jared

The 351W is very similar to the 302. but there are a few differences that directly affect the kit you are looking at.

- The oil pans are not interchangeable between the 302 nad 351. you should be able to get a rear sump oil pan for the 351 that should work (by the way what did said 351 come out of.)

-the 351 block has about a 1 inch higher deck. this may affect the fit of your headers. the header will bolt up but will sit higher due to the increased deck height, however they may still work fine.

-engine mounts and oil filter kit should fit both the 302 and the 351.

Well I am not sure exactly what it came out of. But do you think i could figure it out by the serial # on the block?

nope, ford casting number are generic.
